Just like any other Predator games, this game talks about an alien tech creature who’s hunting for its prey, human. This game sets in a remote area around the world where the predator chooses it’s hunting ground. And then there’s a group of elite forces with high tech human-made weapons who need to stop the predator.

It’s about a hunt or be hunted. You can play either as an Elite Forces group who need to complete their operation before the predator found you, or play as the predator itself who’s ready to hunt its prey with high tech alien-made weapon.

Predator: Hunting Grounds isn’t an open-world or free roam game. So even 2GB RAM can run this game. That being said, 2GB RAM only capable to support for a maximum of 30FPS and 720p if other hardware also met the requirements.

Graphics

Even if this game isn’t an open-world, Predator: Hunting Grounds still has high-quality graphics and texture. So you need more than decent VGA to render this game smoothly. AMD Radeon HD 7950 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 is enough just to run in the lowest setting.

CPU

As for the CPU, you don’t need a super fancy processor either. A mid-end Processor like Intel i3-2100 3.1GHz is enough just to run this game in 30FPS. Maybe at some point, there’ll be lag a bit, but it’s still playable.

  • OS: Windows 7, Windows 8 (8.1) or Windows 10 64-bit only

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz, AMD Ryzen R5 1400 or higher
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB or higher
  • HDD: Available 50 GB Internal HDD Space
  • DirectX: Direct X 11

That’s all for Predator: Hunting Grounds requirements. With the minimum spec, you run it in mostly 30fps or 25fps when there’s frame drop. But with the recommended specs, this game can run in 4K 60FPS with stunning graphics and texture. So, Predator: Hunting Grounds quite worth your try, especially if you like the movie and the 2005’s game.

The long-awaited game, Resident Evil 3 Remake, finally released on April 3rd, 2020. But, is this game can surpass its predecessor? Or even the Resident Evil 2 Remake that came out last year? Let’s find out in this Resident Evil 3 Remake review.

As we all may know, last year in 2019, Capcom also release Resident Evil 2 Remake that became a huge success and nominated as Game of The Year by The Game Awards.

I know that these two are two different games with two different sets and characters. Even when the original game came out in PS1, there are two types of fans that either like RE 2 and dislike RE 3 or vice versa.

But since both RE3 Remake and RE2 remake made by the same game engine, why don’t we compare these two while reviewing Resident Evil 3 Remake.

Resident Evil 3 Remake Graphics

Talk about graphics, of course, this game has way better model and graphics compared to the original titles. This game has about 20 years gap between the original titles. And Resident Evil 3 Remake made by RE Engine, the same game engine that made RE2 Remake.

But now the question is, how does RE3 Remake graphic if we compare to Resident Evil 2 Remake? I can say that there are no major changes between the two games. Even though RE3 Remake came out one year after RE2.

The slight changes we can notice in Resident Evil 3 Remake is how they made the city. Because RE2 Remake more focused inside the police department only, in other hands RE3 Remake also has a lot of outdoor gameplay.

Gameplay

Just like the graphics aspect, there are no major changes either in the RE3 Remake gameplay. You’ll steal dealing with kinda same zombies, using weapons, and other stuff.

But what I notice is this game has even more fast-paced than RE2 Remake. You’ll need to catch up both for the adapting gameplay system and the story. Other than that, now you only can use limited space of inventory, which kinda brings back the old-school feeling to it.

RE3 Remake also brings back the map feature, now you can look for treasure or item from your map. Even though this will save your time when treasure hunting, RE3 Remake has fewer puzzles and treasure to collect. This becomes a more action-packed game than a puzzle and survival game.

Resident Evil 3 Remake Story

As for the story and plot, there are no major changes from the original titles. But one thing kinda made me disappointed is Nemesis has less screen time compared to Mr.X in Resident Evil 2. So you can’t really feel the same tension when being chased by Mr.X.

Other than that, everything still quite the same. You can play both as Carlos Oliviera or Jill Valentine. And the single-player campaign has about 20 to 30 hours gameplay with no New Game +.

Alright, I think that is all for Resident Evil 3 Remake review. Is this game worth to play? To be honest it’s kinda hard to decide as well. After playing the RE2 Remake, I kinda feel RE3 Remake just like playing Assassin Creed Odyssey after playing Assassin Creed Origins. But if you’re die-hard RE fans, then this game definitely worth your try.

Alright, without any further ado, these are the best total war games to the worst.

Total War Games from Best to Worst

1. Shogun: Total War

Shogun: Total War is the first and the best total war game ever made.

Shogun: Total War is the first and the best total war game ever made. Back then, this game is one of the most popular strategy games and competing with the Age of Empires or Warcraft. This game released in 2000, published by EA and developed by The Creative Assembly.

Like its name, Shogun: Total War set in the Japanese Feudal Era where Shogun holds the highest position both for militaries and government. One of the most surprising things you can experience back then is the real-time 3D fight which none of the other games could do.

2. Medieval: Total War

Medieval: Total War cover almost all around the globe

After the huge success of the first game, Creative Assembly want to repeat the same action in 2001 by releasing Medieval: Total War. If the Shogun only covers Japan Faudal Era, this game has a more large scale world.

Medieval: Total War cover almost all around the globe, including Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Even though the gameplay similarly the same, but now this game receives a lot of critics for the unit management.

3. Total War: Three Kingdoms

Medieval: Total War published by Activision in 2001

The next best Total War game has about 18 years gap. Medieval: Total War published by Activision in 2001 and Total War: Three Kingdoms published by Sega in 2019. I could say that this is the new era where people came back to play Total War games after more than 10 years being mediocre strategy game.

Total War: Three Kingdoms developed by Creative Assembly exclusively for PC, either it is Microsoft Windows, Linux, or Mac OS. And the most captivating thing in this game is they bring back the legendary three warlords war, Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Sun Jian in the modern game. Especially after the newest Dynasty Warriors 9 failed to impress people.

4. Total War: Warhammer 2

Warhammer 2 receives a lot more positive responses

One year before releasing Total War: Three Kingdoms, Creative Assembly also released their new game named Total War: Warhammer II in 2018. This is the sequel of the 2016’s Total War: Warhammer that got quite a lot of dislikes.

Comparing to its prequel, Warhammer 2 receives a lot more positive responses. Even though this game still set in the same fictional Warhammer world where they mixed the dinosaur era and modern technology.

5. Rome: Total War

Rome: Total War set in an imperial period of ancient Rome

Rome: Total War is the third strategy game after the Medieval: Total War. This game still developed by the same company and originally published by Activision in 2004 for PC. And recently, in 2018, this game ported to Android and published by Sega.

Just like its name, Rome: Total War set in an imperial period of ancient Rome. This game also still has the same overall gameplay as its predecessor. There are no many updates or new features yet. And that makes people kinda feel “been there, done that” and starting to bored with this game.

6. Empire: Total War

Empire: Total War set in the 18th century and focused on the British Empire

In 2007, Creative Assembly begin to make a new captivating features again in Empire: Total War. As their collaboration with Valve, Creative Assembly begin to develop the fifth Total War games and the second game published by Sega.

Empire: Total War set in the 18th century and focused on the British Empire and the United States. There’s a special campaign about the development from the United States Settlement of Jamestown to the American War on Independence. Even though this game got some critics, but a ton of peoples also praised it back then.

7. Total War: Attila

Total War: Attila is quite a unique game because it’s set on the Late Antiquity era in about 395 AD.

The next best Total War game is Total War: Attila that released in 2015. Counted from Shogun: Total War, this is the 9th standalone game in Total War franchise. This game published by Sega for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux.

Total War: Attila is quite a unique game because it’s set on the Late Antiquity era in about 395 AD. This is an era where they start the transition from Classical Rome to the Medieval age in Europe history. You’ll also be playing as the Huns, nomadic peoples who live in Central Asia.

8. Total War: Shogun 2

Total War: Shogun 2 can’t surpass its predecessor’s success.

And the last best Total War game in this list is Total War: Shogun 2. This is the direct sequel of the first Shogun: Total war in 2000, which is the first Total War game. This game published by Sega in 2011 for PC only.

Unfortunately, Total War: Shogun 2 can’t surpass its predecessor’s success. Even though Creative Assembly make it way bigger than the prequel with more clan and almost entire island to journey, but not everyone likes this game as they love the first title.

Other Best Total War Games Worth Your Try

Even though all the best titles have been ranked in the previous list, there’s also another Total War games that still worth your try. There’s also some sequel, prequel, and spin-off that came out for mobile platforms.

13. Warhammer: Total War
14. Total War Saga: Troy
15. Spartan: Total Warrior
